Victor Hoefnagels (1953), The Hague

Victor grew up in the back streets of the city of The Hague (the Netherlands) and started painting when he was eleven years old. After his study at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts (1973-1978) he worked as a designer, illustrator and painter. Today his art is part of collections in The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, Scotland, England, Denmark, Norway, Spain, Italy, The United States, Brazil, Japan, Libanon and Indonesia.

Themes over the years

Themes determine the style and technical execution of Victor’s art. Abstract forms, photorealism and all the styles in between belong to his pallet of possibilities.
Check his website victorhoefnagels.nl for more work, availability and prices.

12 Legends

In this series, he created portraits of pop and rock legends, 12 of which are now on display with us. The artworks were painted with acrylic on canvas and measure 50 x 70 cm.

About

Tot de Kerncentrale pop-up gallery aims to provide a platform for local artists or those with a strong connection to The Hague. What else would you expect from the city’s most artistic neighborhood, the Zeeheldenkwartier?

Zoutmanstraat 94 Den Haag

Opening hours

The opening hours of the expo reflect the spontaneity of a true pop-up gallery. Is the light on? If so, you’re warmly invited to step inside and admire all the beauty it has to offer, usually during working hours, but you might just get lucky on the weekend.
